Auditions for Love's Labour's Lost will be held on November 7th @ 9:30am in the Morgan Theatre. A sign up sheet for auditions has been posted on the UST call board outside of FA 148 (Chase Fine Arts Center).
Love's Labour's Lost goes into rehearsal Tuesday, January 9th and opens a split-weekend run -- March 4-14th. For those wanting to attend, participation in ACTF has been built into the rehearsal period. (Week of February 14th in St. George). The show rehearses nightly Monday through Friday from 6:30-9:30pm, reserving the weekend before opening for special rehearsals, should they be needed.
Actor's and musicians need to register for an audition time. Students are asked to prepare a not-more-than 3 minute scene with a scene partner. Script cuttings are available for download below. You and your partner may choose from them, or carefully cut another scene from the script. Be advised that the scene should be well-in-mind (meaning memorized), and with movement, not necessarily blocking per-se, and indicate an acquaintance with major acting principles;objectives, obstacles, communion, etc -- strong, creative chocies are best. Musicians should bring their instrument and be prepared to play a 1 minute excerpt -- a classical selection is preferred.
A "set" which auditionees can use or ignore, will be provided by "LLL" management. This production is set in the Georgian period.
